I renewed but the app is still locked

You've renewed, but the TV still shows a locked screen or a device code. That's frustrating, and it is usually quick to sort out. Here is what to try, in order.
Step 1: Give it a moment
Once a plan is active, the screen unlocks by itself. You don't need to restart anything. If you renewed seconds ago, wait a short while with the app open.
Step 2: Close and reopen the app
If the lock stays, make the app check again:
- Press Home on your remote to leave Zenith.
- Close the app fully (on Fire TV and Android TV you can stop it from the device's app settings, or simply restart the device).
- Open Zenith again.
When it starts, the app re-checks your plan. In most cases this is all it takes.
Step 3: Check you renewed the right TV
If you have more than one device, or you recently updated and see two Zenith icons, it's easy to renew the wrong one. Things to check:
- The device code on the locked screen is the one you activated or sent us.
- If two Zenith icons appear after an update, open the new one. Send us its device code so we can move your plan, then uninstall the old one.
Step 4: Login users, check your details
If you sign in with a username, password and server from your TV provider, your renewal needs to be on that same login. An "invalid login" type error means the details need checking: correct spelling, no spaces, and the right server address.
What not to do
Please don't uninstall and reinstall to fix a lock after renewing. Your time is added to the same TV, so a reinstall does not speed anything up.
Still stuck?
Message us on WhatsApp or live chat at zenithplayer.us. Send:
- Your device code (found in Settings → Help & support, or shown on the locked screen)
- A photo of the screen
- Roughly when and how you renewed (the Renew page or the Renew button in the app)
With that, we can find your plan, match it to your TV and unlock it for you.
Ready when you are
Choose your plan, install the app and start watching in minutes.
