Android says "This app might be harmful" when I install Zenith

While installing Zenith Player, Android may pop up a Google Play Protect message saying the app might be harmful. It looks worrying, but there is a simple reason for it, and you can continue in two taps.

Why the warning appears

Google Play Protect checks every app you install. When an app comes from outside the Play Store and Google hasn't seen it much yet, Play Protect shows a caution message by default.

Zenith Player is installed from our website, zenithplayer.us, not from the Play Store. That is the only reason the message appears. The app is registered to a verified developer.

How to install anyway

1. When the Play Protect message appears, look for More details and tap or select it. On a TV, use the arrow keys on your remote to reach it.
2. More options appear below the message.
3. Choose Install anyway.
4. The install continues as normal. When it's done, choose Open.

That's all. You don't need to change any other setting on your device.

What if I already tapped "Don't install"?

No problem. Nothing was changed on your device. Just start the install again:

• Phone or tablet: open the downloaded Zenith file again from your notifications or downloads, or tap Download on zenithplayer.us once more.
• Fire TV or Android TV: open Downloader, enter the Zenith Downloader code from zenithplayer.us, and install again.

This time, choose More details and then Install anyway.

Will I see this every time?

You may see the message again when you install a new version, since each update is installed the same way. The steps are the same each time.

After installing

Open Zenith Player and you'll see a short device code. Activate it on zenithplayer.us/activate, or send it to us on WhatsApp or live chat with the plan you want. The screen unlocks by itself once the plan is active.
