I see the picture but there's no sound

The picture is fine, but you hear nothing. This is often down to how sound is sent to your TV, soundbar or AV receiver, and it usually takes only a minute to sort out.
Start with the simple checks
- Make sure your TV, soundbar or receiver isn't muted and the volume is up.
- Check that your soundbar or receiver is switched on and set to the right input.
- Play a different channel or movie. If only one title is silent, the problem may be with that stream.
Understand Dolby / DTS passthrough
Zenith Player has a setting called Dolby / DTS passthrough in Settings → Playback. When it's on, the app sends surround sound untouched to your soundbar or AV receiver, so that equipment can decode it.
That's great when your setup supports it. But if your TV or sound system can't handle a particular audio format, you may get silence on some movies or channels.
If some content has no sound
- Open Settings.
- Go to Playback.
- Switch Dolby / DTS passthrough off.
- Play the same channel or movie again.
With passthrough off, the app handles the sound itself, which usually brings audio back. If you later connect a soundbar or receiver that supports surround sound, you can try switching it back on.
Watching in Multiview?
In Multiview you can watch up to 4 streams at once, but you choose which one you hear. If the picture you're looking at is silent, make sure it's the stream selected for sound.
Restart if nothing changes
- Close Zenith Player fully.
- Restart your Fire TV, Android TV or Google TV box.
- Open the app and try again.
On a phone or tablet, also check that the media volume is turned up and no Bluetooth headphones are still connected.
Still stuck?
Message us on WhatsApp or live chat at zenithplayer.us with your device code (found in Settings → Help & support) and a photo of the screen. It helps to tell us whether you use a soundbar or AV receiver, and whether the silence happens everywhere or only on certain titles.
Ready when you are
Choose your plan, install the app and start watching in minutes.
