Continue watching isn't remembering where I stopped

The Continue watching row on Home is meant to pick up where you left off. If a film you half watched isn't there, or an episode starts from the beginning, here's what to look at.

Same profile, same device?

Continue watching belongs to a profile. Each profile on a device has its own favourites, history and continue watching, so progress saved on one profile won't appear on another.

1. Select the profile avatar in the top-right corner.
2. Choose Switch profile and pick the one you used when you started watching.
3. Go to Home and look at the Continue watching row.

If several people share the TV, it's easy to start something on someone else's profile without noticing. Glance at the avatar before pressing play.

Look in the right place

Continue watching is the first row on Home, above On now · your channels. If you've just finished watching, go back to Home and check that row before looking anywhere else. Titles you've saved on purpose live in My List instead.

Refresh your lists

If the title itself has changed or been re-added by your TV provider, the app may not match it to your earlier progress.

1. Open Settings from the profile menu.
2. Choose Reload content and let it finish.
3. Check Continue watching again.

Your favourites and history are kept when you reload.

Changed login or app?

• A profile can use its own login, which means its own line. If the login on a profile has changed, progress from the old line may not carry over.
• After the recent move to a new app ID, a second Zenith icon can appear on your device. Progress made in the old app stays with the old app. Open the new one, send us its device code so we can move your plan, then uninstall the old one.

Live channels

To get back to a live channel you were on, the quickest route is the Recently watched chip in Live TV.
