I get "App not installed" when installing or updating Zenith

"App not installed" is Android's general message when an install can't finish. With Zenith Player it almost always comes down to one of three things: not enough storage, an old copy getting in the way, or a download that was cut off.
1. Free up storage space
TV sticks and boxes often have little storage, and the install needs room for both the downloaded file and the app itself.
- Uninstall apps you no longer use.
- Delete old downloaded files, for example from the Downloader app.
- Try the install again.
2. Delete the half-downloaded file
If the Wi-Fi dropped or the device went to sleep while downloading, the file can be incomplete. Android can't install a broken file, so it shows "App not installed".
- Open Downloader (on TV) or your downloads folder (on a phone or tablet).
- Find the Zenith file and delete it.
- Download it again fresh. On TV, enter the Zenith Downloader code from zenithplayer.us. On a phone or tablet, tap Download on zenithplayer.us.
- Wait until the download is fully finished before choosing Install.
Keep the device awake and close to your router while it downloads. Wired internet or 5 GHz Wi-Fi helps.
3. An old copy is in the way
An older copy of Zenith Player on the device can block a new install. Before you remove it, open the old app, go to Settings → Help & support and note your device code. Send it to us on WhatsApp or live chat so we can make sure your plan is kept. Then uninstall the old copy and install the new download.
Quick checklist
- Enough free space on the device
- The old, broken download deleted
- A fresh download that finished completely
- Your device code sent to us before removing any old copy
