How do I add my own XMLTV guide to Zenith Player?

If your guide has gaps, or you simply prefer a different set of listings, Zenith Player lets you paste in your own XMLTV guide link. It can fill in what's missing or take over the guide entirely.
What you need
- A working XMLTV link. It will end in .xml or .xml.gz (the .gz version is a compressed file and works just as well).
- The link usually comes from your TV provider. If you're not sure whether they offer one, ask them for their "XMLTV" or "EPG" link.
Typing a long web address with a TV remote can be slow. Take your time and double-check each character.
Add the link
- Open Zenith Player and select the profile avatar in the top-right corner.
- Go to Settings, then TV guide source.
- Paste or type your XMLTV link into the box.
- Select Load now.
- Give it a moment. Large guide files can take a little while to download.
- Open the Guide from the top menu and press Now to check the listings.
Check it worked
Scroll through a few channels you watch often. You should see programme names along the time ruler, with Earlier and Later taking you back and forward in half-hour steps. If some channels are still empty, the link you added may not include them.
If the times are off
Some guide files use a different time zone. If listings are consistently an hour or so out, open TV guide source again and set Time shift to −1 h or +1 h, then select Load now. No shift puts it back to normal.
If nothing appears
- Make sure the whole link was entered, including the ending .xml or .xml.gz.
- Check there are no extra spaces at the start or end.
- Open the link on another device's browser to confirm it still works.
- Select Load now again after any change.
Going back to how it was
If you want to stop using your own guide, clear the link from TV guide source and select Load now. Then use Settings → Reload content to refresh your channel lists as well. Your favourites and history are kept.
Still stuck?
Message us on WhatsApp or live chat at zenithplayer.us with your device code (found in Settings → Help & support) and a photo of the screen. If you can, include a photo of the TV guide source page so we can check the link format.
